Job summary

Amazon seeks a Manufacturing Operations and Industrial Engineering Program Manager to own factory layout and material flow design across AWS rack fulfillment sites. You will work at the intersection of capacity planning, automation, construction, and operations across EC2, Machine Learning, and Storage hardware platforms.

Strong leadership and process discipline are essential to scale manufacturing infrastructure globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams.
• 7+ years of experience working with engineering teams across cross-functional programs.

Responsibilities

• Translate rack fulfillment capacity plans into data-driven facility layouts for AWS manufacturing operations.
• Design factory floor layouts with automation lines, manual zones, test positions, and material handling systems.
• Develop and maintain industrial simulation models to identify bottlenecks and optimize throughput.
• Coordinate utilities and infrastructure with facilities and construction teams for phased deployments.
