Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Manager, Technical Operations in the United States to lead infra service intake, triage, and scheduling within JIRA. You will own backlog health, governance, and incident response while guiding a team of Cloud Platform Engineers across Azure AKS and related technologies.

You will partner with Information Security and stakeholders to drive security hardening, audits, and reliability improvements, aiming for 99.99% uptime through automation and data-driven processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years in infra ops or SRE.
• Experience managing intake/backlogs in JIRA.
• Experience with Azure, AKS, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong governance, security, and change-management experience.

Responsibilities

• Own intake, triage, prioritization, and scheduling of infra service requests in JIRA.
• Maintain backlog health, governance, intake quality, prioritization discipline, and SLAs.
• Coordinate patching, security updates, and platform upgrades with minimal disruption.
• Lead infrastructure review sessions for priorities, decisions, and readiness.
• Ensure changes follow change-management, governance, and audit requirements.
• Lead, coach, and develop Cloud Platform Engineers.
• Manage team capacity and staffing while balancing demand and growth.
• Anticipate infrastructure risks related to capacity, performance, and security.
• Decompose large initiatives into platform sprint work items.
• Escalation point during incidents; lead post-mortems and reliability improvements.
• Partner with InfoSec on hardening, audits, and remediation activities.
• Use metrics to identify bottlenecks and optimize workflows.
• Standardize docs, templates, and operational processes for efficiency.
• Drive automation and AI-assisted triage to reduce manual work.
