Job summary
Jobgether SRL is seeking a DevOps Architect based in the United States to shape the architecture and evolution of critical DevOps infrastructure and delivery pipelines. You will lead technical strategies to improve reliability, scalability, performance, security, and resilience across engineering environments.
The role combines cloud and infrastructure expertise with SRE principles and architectural leadership to optimize CI/CD, expand automation, strengthen observability, and address risks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- 10 years of experience in software engineering, IT services, infrastructure architecture, or related field.
- Proven experience designing, building, and managing large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong cloud experience with AWS/Azure/GCP.
- Hands-on with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Solid knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, infrastructure automation, and SRE principles.
- Experience with monitoring/logging/alerting platforms like Prometheus, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
- Ability to design scalable, secure, resilient tech solutions.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Responsibilities
- Define and champion the architectural roadmap for DevOps infrastructure and practices.
- Architect and optimize CI/CD pipelines for fast, reliable software delivery.
- Evaluate and implement DevOps tools to automate processes and improve reliability.
- Apply SRE principles to design highly available systems with SLOs/SLIs/budgeting.
- Design comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure visibility.
- Identify bottlenecks and plan capacity, load balancing, and caching.
- Forecast capacity needs to support growth.
- Integrate security across the DevOps lifecycle and support compliance.
- Design disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
- Participate in incident response and post-mortems to drive improvements.
- Promote automation and reliability across engineering teams.
- Communicate designs and progress to diverse stakeholders.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship.
