Job summary

InvoiceCloud, Inc. is seeking a Technical Operations Manager to own the Infrastructure Service Request intake and prioritization within JIRA.

You will triage, schedule, and communicate infrastructure work, including patching and security updates, coordinating with Cloud Platform Engineers and cross-functional teams. You will join an on-call rotation as an escalation point for major incidents, lead post-mortems, and drive improvements toward 99.99% uptime, reporting to the Vice President of

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 5+ years in infrastructure/platform engineering or SRE.
• Experience managing technical work intake processes and backlogs using JIRA or similar tools.
• Experience coordinating maintenance windows, patching, and operational readiness activities.
• Strong understanding of change-management frameworks and governance practices.
• Excellent communication with senior technical and business stakeholders.
• Analytical skills for risk, complexity, and business impact.

Responsibilities

• Own the Infrastructure Service Request JIRA board and prioritize workload.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Cloud Platform Engineers.
• Escalate and manage infrastructure risks related to capacity, security, and performance.
• Communicate maintenance plans, changes, and risk to stakeholders and leadership.
• Manage team capacity and hiring to meet demand.
• Backlog management and routing large requests into platform sprints.
• Provide updates and risk assessments to the VP of Platform Engineering.
• Coordinate with InfoSec on security hardening and audit readiness.
