Job summary

McKesson Medical-Surgical is seeking a senior cloud infrastructure engineer to design, build, and operate production GCP environments. You will manage IaC pipelines, apply security baselines, and enable hybrid connectivity for Apigee X integrations and Oracle Exadata/JDE connectivity.

You will lead automated deployments with GitHub Actions/Cloud Build, optimize costs, and ensure observability and security across multiple environments in a large enterprise setup.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise IT/infrastructure experience.
• 4+ years designing, engineering, and operating production environments on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Hands-on with Apigee X / Apigee Edge and hybrid interconnectivity to Oracle Exadata/JDe ERP.

Responsibilities

• GCP Foundation, Landing Zones & IaC governance.
• Design, build, and maintain enterprise GCP infrastructure with IaC and GitOps.
• Configure hybrid connectivity (Shared VPCs, PSC, Interconnect, VPN) for secure multi-environment.
• Maintain Apigee X runtimes, API gateways, PSC attachments, and load balancers.
• Engineer Oracle Exadata/JDE interconnects for high-performance connectivity.
• Support API security, mTLS, and traffic controls across services.
• Deploy and manage GKE clusters powering microservices and AI workloads.
• Build automated deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions or Cloud Build.
• Implement FinOps standards with tagging, budgets, showback reporting.
