Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Technical Leader for Isovalent Secure Workload (Observability). This remote role entails guiding a team to deliver scalable, secure workload security solutions, with emphasis on telemetry, policy rendering, and high-performance API endpoints.

You will architect backend systems, drive performance and reliability improvements, and collaborate across distributed teams to safeguard customer workloads in AI infrastructure contexts.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software experience with Go/C++/Java.
• Technical leadership experience in a software engineering environment.
• Agile development experience.
• Bachelor's degree with 6 years related experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to a team of engineers.
• Make architectural contributions in backend services focusing on scale, performance, reliability, robustness, and security.
• Develop telemetry collection and policy rendering at scale.
• Build low-latency API endpoints for large data volumes.
