Job summary

Codemythos Solutions is seeking an experienced Technical Lead to steer our Project Support Software Development Team in a fast-paced consultancy setting. The role blends hands-on technical authority with delivery oversight and leadership across 150+ projects.

You will set development standards, guide architecture, mentor engineers, and communicate with clients and stakeholders to translate needs into technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven background as a software developer.
• Experience as Technical Lead, Delivery Lead, Project Lead or Scrum Master in consultancy.
• Experience across multiple technology stacks and project types.
• Strong understanding of modern development practices (CI/CD, testing strategies, version control, cloud platforms).
• Excellent prioritisation and decision-making in high-volume environments.
• Strong stakeholder and client-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the senior technical authority for the team, setting development standards, architectural principles, and best practices across diverse tech stacks.
• Provide technical oversight for multiple concurrent projects, ensuring quality, security, and maintainability.
• Review designs and critical code, supporting complex problem-solving and technical escalation.
• Guide technology selection and solution design in line with client and business needs.
• Proactively identify and manage technical risk and debt.
• Support planning, scoping, and estimation of project work.
• Prioritise team workloads across a high volume of parallel projects.
• Identify delivery risks, resourcing constraints, and dependencies.
• Ensure clear documentation, handovers, and support processes are followed.
• Line-manage, mentor, and coach developers across varying experience levels.
• Support continuous learning across multiple tech stacks and project types.
• Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and development planning.
• Foster a culture of accountability, quality, and collaboration.
• Translate client and business needs into clear technical approaches.
• Communicate progress, risks, and constraints to non-technical stakeholders.
• Support presales activity, technical discovery, and solution proposals where required.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor internally and externally.
