Job summary

Homebound seeks a Tech Lead Manager (Staff+) to lead a small team building a modern platform for homebuilding. You will stay hands-on while managing 2–4 engineers, setting technical direction, and delivering production-grade features across internal tools and customer experiences.

You will own end-to-end delivery, collaborate with product and design, and mentor engineers to grow. A remote-first culture and offsite gatherings support collaboration and impact.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience as a tech lead, team lead, or engineering manager.
• Built and delivered full-stack features across modern web technologies.
• Actively using AI coding tools in daily workflow.

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction for your domain and contribute to architecture decisions.
• Design, build, and deliver features across the platform from design to deployment.
• Stay hands-on and write production-grade code regularly.
• Directly manage a team of 2–4 engineers and drive delivery.
• Partner with product and design to translate real-world processes into clean, reliable software.
