Job summary

One Call seeks a Senior/Principal Software Engineer to provide architectural depth and hands-on leadership in a legacy-heavy environment actively modernizing. You will guide engineers, drive architectural decisions, and deliver high-quality software across .NET, SQL Server, and front-end stacks.

You will operate in a remote-first setting, collaborating with Product, QA, Design, and other teams to ensure predictable delivery while maintaining strong code quality and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years building enterprise .NET applications in C# and VB.NET.
• Experience modernizing large legacy .NET codebases; service extraction and modularization.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services, logging, monitoring, and observability patterns.
• Experience in healthcare, workers' compensation, or regulated industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive architecture and design discussions across multiple applications and services.
• Provide pragmatic hands-on guidance across .NET, SQL, and front-end stacks.
• Develop and optimize SQL Server objects and APIs; ensure CI/CD maturity and observability.
• Mentor engineers, enforce coding standards, and improve delivery pipelines.
