Job summary

Veeam is seeking a Technical Lead Manager to direct a Forward Deployed Engineering team delivering complex customer deployments of the Securiti AI platform. You will own team growth, portfolio delivery, and customer experience from first deployment to scaled use, reviewing architectures, guiding decisions, and improving patterns and tools across accounts.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong people leadership, clear communication, and the ability to drive predictable execution across

Qualifications

• 8-12+ years in technical, customer-facing delivery roles.
• Experience managing engineers or delivery teams, including hiring and performance management.
• Strong program and delivery management across multiple customer accounts, timelines and risks.
• Excellent communication with executives, business leaders, engineers, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Forward Deployed Engineers, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management.
• Own delivery across a portfolio of enterprise accounts, including milestones, risks, and outcomes.
• Balance workload and account assignments based on skills and growth opportunities.
• Set an operating rhythm for status updates, delivery tracking, and risk management.
• Manage customer expectations with executive and technical stakeholders.
• Review solution architecture and guide complex technical decisions.
• Support deployments across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments (Kubernetes, Linux, containers).
• Set technical standards and playbooks to ensure quality and consistency.
• Champion AI-native tools and automation to improve speed and quality.
• Partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, CS, and Professional Services on pursuits and escalations.
