Job summary

Veeam Software in San Jose, CA, seeks a Technical Lead Manager for Forward Deployed Engineering. You will lead a team delivering complex customer deployments to the Securiti AI platform, owning growth, delivery, and the customer experience from first deployment to scale.

You will review architecture, guide technical decisions, and improve patterns while delivering across cloud, hybrid, and on‑prem environments. Strong people leadership and executive communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

8–12+ years in technical, customer-facing delivery roles such as forward-deployed engineering or solutions delivery.
Experience managing engineers or delivery teams, including hiring and performance development.
Strong program and delivery management across multiple accounts, timelines and risks.

Responsibilities

Lead and grow a team of Forward Deployed Engineers, including hiring, onboarding, coaching and career development.
Own delivery across a portfolio of enterprise accounts with planning, milestones and customer outcomes.
Balance workload, set operating rhythm, and manage risks and escalations.
Review architecture, guide decisions, and resolve escalations with clear communication.
Support deployments across cloud, hybrid, and on‑prem environments (Kubernetes, containers, Linux).
Set standards, patterns, and playbooks to deliver with quality and consistency.
Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Services on pursuits and delivery.
