Job summary

Veeam Software, Inc. is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to own the technical strategy for strategic customer accounts. You will lead deployments across cloud, on-prem, Kubernetes, and Linux, and craft scalable, secure data and AI solutions for enterprise environments.

You will mentor peers, build reusable patterns, and partner with Sales Engineering, Product, and Engineering on strategic POCs and field feedback. This is a hands-on senior engineering role based in the United States.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in deeply technical, customer-facing roles such as forward-deployed engineering or solutions engineering.
• Strong programming skills in at least one language (Python, Go, or TypeScript) with ability to read unfamiliar code.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containers, Linux, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Responsibilities

• Own technical delivery for the most complex customer accounts from deployment through scaled use.
• Lead deployments across hybrid environments including cloud, on-premises, Kubernetes, containers, and Linux.
• Define solution architecture for customers with complex data estates, security needs, and business requirements.
• Build reusable patterns, tools, and playbooks to accelerate the wider FDE team.
