Job summary

Veeam Software, Inc. is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to own strategic deployments of the Securiti AI platform within Veeam. You will deploy, integrate, and scale the platform across cloud, hybrid, and on‑prem environments from the San Jose site.

You will build integrations, troubleshoot issues, and adapt the platform to meet customer needs, with a hands‑on engineering focus and strong collaboration with Sales Engineering, Product, and Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years in technical, customer-facing roles such as forward‑deployed engineering.
• Fluency in Python, Go, or TypeScript and experience shipping practical tech solutions.
• Hands‑on with Kubernetes, Linux, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Ability to translate goals into technical plans and work across hybrid/cloud/on‑prem environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical outcome for customer deployments from first install to scaled use.
• Deploy and configure the platform across hybrid environments, including cloud and on‑premises.
• Connect platform to customer systems, data stores, and reporting tools.
• Build integrations using APIs and implement SSO/SAML/OIDC, SIEM, and ITSM workflows.
• Diagnose complex issues across data, deployment, and integration layers.
