Job summary

Veeam Software Corporation is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to own technical delivery for the most complex customer accounts, across deployment to ongoing use. The role involves leading hybrid deployments, defining architectures, and building integrations and automation to scale value for enterprises.

You will work directly with executives, security leaders, and engineering teams to translate data, security, privacy, and AI needs into scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years in deeply technical, customer-facing roles.
• Strong software engineering skills in Python/Go/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containers, Linux, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Responsibilities

• Own technical delivery for the most complex customer accounts from deployment through ongoing use.
• Lead deployments across hybrid environments including cloud, on-premises, Kubernetes, containers, Linux.
• Define solution architecture for data estates with security and business requirements.
• Adapt platform behavior when configurations don’t match customer needs.
• Build and operate integrations across customer systems (identity, SIEM, ITSM, data platforms).
• Diagnose and resolve deep technical issues across data, deployment, and integration layers.
• Build reusable agents, automations, tools, and playbooks for faster delivery.
• Turn manual outcomes into repeatable remediation workflows.
• Lead architecture sessions with executives, security leaders, and engineers.
• Mentor other engineers and share patterns to unblock work.
• Partner with Sales Engineering, Product, and Engineering on POCs and feedback.
