Job summary

Veeam is seeking a Technical Lead Manager to lead a team of Forward Deployed Engineers delivering complex customer deployments to the Securiti AI platform within Veeam. You will own growth, delivery across enterprise accounts, and the customer experience from first deployment through scaled use.

This hands-on leadership role requires staying close to the work, reviewing architecture, guiding decisions, resolving escalations, and improving patterns and tools for consistent quality across multiple

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in technical, customer-facing delivery roles or related leadership positions.
• Experience managing engineers or delivery teams including hiring and coaching.
• Strong program and delivery management across multiple accounts and priorities.
• Excellent communication with executives, engineers, and cross-functional teams.
• Technical depth in deployment, infrastructure, cloud and hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a team of Forward Deployed Engineers, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance, and career development
• Own delivery across a portfolio of enterprise accounts, including planning, milestones, risks, timelines, and customer outcomes
• Balance team workload and account assignments based on skills, capacity, customer needs, and growth opportunities
• Set a clear operating rhythm for status updates, delivery tracking, risk management, and escalation
• Manage customer expectations with executive and technical stakeholders, keeping commitments
• Review solution architecture, guide complex technical decisions, and help resolve escalations
• Support deployments across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments, including Kubernetes, containers, Linux, and cloud infrastructure
• Set technical standards, reusable patterns, and playbooks for quality and consistency
• Champion AI-forward ways of working with automation to improve speed and quality
• Partner with Sales Engineering, Account Executives, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Professional Services
