Job summary

L3Harris Integrated Mission Systems is seeking a Technical Lead Software Engineer in Camden, NJ. You will lead a software development team, translate requirements into robust solutions, plan development efforts, and manage budgets and tasks across the SDLC.

Responsibilities include OO design, modern C++ development, embedded software guidance, and cross-functional collaboration to meet performance targets. A DoD secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a Software Team / Project, strong project management skills.
• Project planning, task definition and assignment; performance monitoring.
• Object-oriented design and implementation experience, with exposure to software modeling and UML tools such as IBM Rhapsody or MagicDraw/Cameo.
• Developing software utilizing Modern C++ tools and standards.
• Support the engineering team members as a subject matter expert in embedded software application development.
• Investigate root cause of complex issues, and implement solutions, working independently or with a multi-discipline team.
• Apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis concepts and principles in the development of software for the target hardware.
• Work closely with cross functional members of the engineering organization to develop and evaluate interfaces between hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement OO software with UML tools.
• Develop software using modern C++ standards.
• Guide embedded software development across team members.
• Diagnose complex issues and implement effective solutions.

• Contribute to all SDLC phases from requirements to testing.
