Job summary

Central Business Solutions, Inc is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for the LMES program in Camden, NJ. You will lead the software team, translate requirements into maintainable solutions, and drive planning and execution across the SDLC.

The role requires strong C++ experience, embedded software skills, and DoD Secret clearance. Collaboration across hardware and software teams is essential to meet performance targets and project milestones.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience debugging applications on simulated and target hardware.
• U.S. citizenship with an Active DoD Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience with RTOS such as Green Hills Integrity or VxWorks and embedded software development

Responsibilities

• Lead a software development team and manage project planning, budgets and tasks.
• Translate requirements into working, maintainable software and supervise SDLC activities.
• Design and implement software using modern C++ standards; mentor engineers
• Collaborate with hardware teams to define interfaces and system performance requirements
• Develop test plans and documentation; ensure EVMS practices are followed
