Job summary

CSA Group is seeking a Technical Specialist to drive growth in Data Center and Industrial Equipment markets. You will partner with Business Development, Operations, and customers to qualify opportunities and align CSA Group capabilities with client needs.

This role requires industry expertise, strategic thinking, and strong technical-commercial leadership across hyperscale, colocation, semiconductors, and critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience in data centers, critical infrastructure, industrial equipment, electrical systems, semiconductors, or related industries.
• Proven success in customer-facing technical, commercial, business development, account management, or market development roles.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the data center and industrial ecosystem.
• Provide industry expertise and technical-commercial guidance to support customer engagement.
• Participate in meetings, events, conferences, and trade associations to strengthen market presence.
• Identify emerging market trends, customer needs, and competitive developments.
• Act as a subject matter resource for Data Center and Industrial Equipment opportunities.
• Support Business Development Managers in qualifying and developing complex opportunities.
• Assist customers in understanding CSA Group service offerings, certification pathways, and compliance strategies.
• Coordinate with Operations and Technical teams to align customer requirements with CSA Group capabilities.
• Provide guidance on market requirements, standards landscape, and customer expectations.
• Support expansion into hyperscale data centers, colocation providers, semiconductor manufacturers, and industrial customers.
• Develop relationships that create long-term growth opportunities for CSA Group.
• Mentor commercial team members on industry trends, customer challenges, and market dynamics.
• Share industry intelligence and best practices across the organization.
