Job Description Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for:

1. Imaging, wiping, and configuring computers. Managing the ticket queue remotely, with occasional on-site assistance during busy periods or for coverage during vacations (advanced notice provided).
2. Onboarding and support for new employees' IT technology. Documenting troubleshooting processes as needed.
3. Configuring and troubleshooting mobile devices. Supporting and maintaining user accounts, including rights, security, and system groups.
4. Providing training to employees on the use of workplace technology.
5. Being self-motivated and capable of working independently or within a team.
6. Representing Compucom professionally and communicating effectively with customers and colleagues.

The Military DoD SkillBridge program offers Service members valuable civilian work experience through industry training, apprenticeships, or internships during the last 180 days of service. It allows Service members to gain real-world job experience with industry partners under DoD Instruction 1322.29. Participants may be granted up to 180 days of permissive duty, with approval from their unit commander, to focus on full-time training with approved industry partners. GE HealthCare, as a SkillBridge partner, provides training and work experience in in-demand fields, allowing evaluation of the Service member’s suitability for the role. Participants continue to receive military pay and benefits during this program.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Active Military Personnel
• Ability to develop and maintain good customer relationships
• Immediate reporting of any customer quality or compliance concerns to the Quality Organization
• Compliance with GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, policies, goals, and applicable laws

Desired Characteristics:

• Desktop support and customer service skills
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
• At least 3 years of experience; A+ certification is a plus
