Job summary

Crane Company is seeking a detail-oriented Technical Inside Sales Representative in Houston, Texas, to support customer service, quotation, and order entry activities.

The role involves managing customer inquiries, processing orders in Sage 50, and ensuring accurate documentation. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and have strong communication skills. Experience in customer service or inside sales is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar Technical degree required.
• Experience in customer service, order management, or inside sales preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Answer and manage incoming calls on the customer service line.
• Prepare and revise customer quotations based on inputs from Sales.
• Convert approved quotations into orders using QuoteWerks.
• Enter and process customer orders in Sage 50, ensuring accuracy.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Finance to resolve issues.
