Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar Technical degree required.
• Ideal candidate has a career interest in Outside Technical Sales.
• Experience in customer service, order management, or inside sales support preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy; ERP experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
• SOX awareness is a plus (exposure to structured processes or controlled environments).

• Prepare and revise customer quotations based on inputs from Sales, established pricing rules, and product knowledge.
• Convert approved quotations into orders using QuoteWerks and process customer orders in Sage 50, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Route completed orders to order processing or back to Sales when purchase order revisions are required.
• Maintain proper documentation to support transactions and ensure audit readiness.
• Provide backup support to production and order processing teams as needed.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Finance to resolve order or customer-related issues.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Inside Sales Representative to support customer service, quotation, and order entry activities during a period of operational integration. This role is critical to ensuring accurate order processing, strong customer communication, and alignment with internal processes and controls.
