Job summary

KOBOLD is seeking a Technical Inside Sales Representative to blend sales, customer success, and engineering support onsite in Robinson, PA. You’ll act as the first line of contact, qualify needs, ask the right questions, and guide customers toward the right product configurations.

This role requires industrial B2B experience, technical aptitude, and strong communication with buyers, applications engineers, and outside sales.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial B2B or adjacent technical sales.
• Ability to learn technical products and configurations.
• Engineering or technical degree preferred; experience in instrumentation, automation, process control.
• Excellent communication with buyers, applications engineers, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first level of support, determine what you can handle and when to escalate to engineering.
• Quote support and opportunity management for ~30 opportunities per week across various stages.
• Ask targeted questions, understand applications, and gather information to identify the right configuration.
• Prioritize opportunities and coordinate with engineering and outside sales to move deals.
