Job summary

Janitza North America is seeking an Inside Sales Representative (ISR) in Ashburn, VA to drive new business and support existing customers. You will conduct discovery, respond to inquiries, and collaborate with Sales Engineering and Marketing to qualify opportunities.

Qualifications

• Background in electrical, IT, or technical B2B sales, or 2+ years in a sales or business development role.
• Ability to conduct consultative sales conversations with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Comfortable working in a quota-based, performance-driven role.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage prospects and customers via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels.
• Respond to and follow up on inbound leads and inquiries.
• Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer needs and identify qualified opportunities.
• Execute outbound prospecting to generate new business opportunities.
• Schedule meetings and support opportunity progression through the sales funnel.
• Answer customer questions and provide product or solution information.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineering on technical qualification and proposals.
• Support Outside Sales by qualifying leads and assisting with opportunity handoffs.
• Maintain accurate activity, lead, and opportunity data in the CRM.
• Operate in a structured, metric driven environment, meeting daily activity targets and monthly revenue goals.
• Stay current on Janitza products, solutions, and market updates.
