Qualifications

• Inside sales, estimating, or quoting experience within metals service center or related technical environment.
• Prior metal products or non-ferrous experience preferred.
• Background in industrial or technical sales with pricing or margin responsibility.
• Strong math skills for pricing and margin analysis.
• Administrative or support experience with technical drawings or specifications.
• Interest in chemistry, materials science, or engineered products.

Responsabilités

• Generate accurate, competitive quotes meeting customer specs and margin objectives.
• Maintain quote accuracy, pricing structure, and margin performance.
• Meet or exceed quoting and sales goals set by Inside Sales Manager.
• Deliver high levels of customer service via phone, email, and electronic communication.
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Collaborate with outside sales and management on pricing decisions and quote development.
• Interpret requirements, negotiate pricing and delivery timelines, and provide service solutions.
• Expedite orders and respond to inquiries and issues promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of products, alloys, pricing, and market conditions.
