Job summary

MRC Global in California is seeking a customer-focused sales support professional to provide technical assistance on instrumentation and controls and to coordinate with Supply Management to meet customer specs.

You will quote prices, process orders, maintain records, and help size actuators for valves, while delivering timely responses to customers and vendors. Travel within and outside the region may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of PVF products and ability to read specifications.
• Experience in customer service or inside sales with increasing responsibility.

MRC Global serves the oil and gas industry across the upstream, midstream and downstream sectors as well as the chemical and gas distribution market sectors worldwide.Job PurposeProvides direct contact for external and internal customers in the selling of instrumentation and controls, or specialty products, and works in conjunction with the Supply Management groups to assure customer specifications for equipment are met.
