Job summary

Hydraquip is seeking a technically inclined Inside Sales Representative to join our team. You will manage key accounts, handle orders, and learn our fluid power products, applications, and vendors with goal of promotion to outside sales within 2-3 years.

You will collaborate with outside sales, purchasing and engineering, build strong customer relationships, and support delivery; ESOP participation and comprehensive benefits accompany competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Distribution, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Certified Fluid Power Hydraulic Specialist preferred.
• Other technical certifications or degrees may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer communications by phone and email.
• Promote products and value-added solutions to new customers.
• Learn products and vendors to build fluid power knowledge.
• Coordinate with internal and vendor contacts on delivery needs.
• Handle large customer questions, orders and deliveries with outside sales.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
• Support ISO 9001 continuous improvement programs.
• Other duties as assigned.
