Job summary

Hydraquip is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support major accounts, handle order entry, and coordinate with purchasing, engineering and management to ensure smooth delivery processes.

The role offers a path to outside sales within 2–3 years, where you will design hydraulic systems, specify HPUs, and become the fluid power expert at customer sites. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Distribution, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Certified Fluid Power Hydraulic Specialist preferred.
• Experience or education may be considered in lieu of formal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage communication with customers via phone and email.
• Promote and sell products and value-added solutions to new customers via inbound inquiries.
• Learn product lines and vendor offerings to develop fluid power knowledge.
• Coordinate with internal teams to meet delivery needs and order status.
• Support large customers' orders and shipments with outside sales in partnership.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell existing customers.
• Assist in outside sales opportunities from potential new customers.
• Support ISO 9001 continual improvement initiatives.
