Job summary

Cornerstone Management Solutions is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer for our growing advanced manufacturing client near Colorado Springs. This role targets candidates with a technical background who enjoy customer interaction and advancing into Business Development.

The position involves qualifying leads, gathering requirements, coordinating with engineering and operations, and managing quotes and opportunities in Salesforce. Onsite with travel as projects expand.

Qualifications

2–5 years in inside sales, application engineering, technical sales, project engineering, or a customer-facing engineering role
Engineering degree or comparable technical background strongly preferred
Manufacturing experience, ideally aerospace, chemicals, polymers, materials, or other technical products
Ability to understand technical applications and communicate confidently with customers and internal engineering teams
Strong organization, follow-through, and comfort managing multiple leads, quotations, and longer-term opportunities
Willingness to ask good questions, challenge assumptions, and push back when necessary
Salesforce or similar CRM experience preferred
Interest in growing into a Business Development position
