Hartfiel Automation is seeking a Technical Sales professional to drive market share across Utah, engaging with manufacturers as a trusted advisor. You will translate technical knowledge into customer value through consultative conversations and hands-on problem solving.

The role emphasizes high activity in the field, collaboration with Product Specialists, and maintaining strong relationships within the territory to grow revenue.

Qualifications

• Preferred degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fluid Power, Automation/Robotics, Motion Control, or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong problem-solving and consultative selling abilities to translate technical knowledge into customer value.
• Willingness to travel within the territory and maintain a high-activity field schedule.

Responsibilities

• Hit the field. Schedule 2-4 in-person customer calls daily.
• Grow the business by expanding revenue within existing accounts and pursuing new customers.
• Get technical by developing deep knowledge of focus product lines and related offerings.
• Solve problems with consultative techniques to recommend the right solutions, not just parts.
• Collaborate to win by leading Team Funnel meetings and leveraging suppliers.
