Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 17:00

Role Overview:

To ensure compliance with the agreement between EMCOR and the client for the delivery of Engineering Services Maintenance and Facilities Services at their site.

What you'll do:
  • Manage and develop all scoped works and tasks efficiently, recording and communicating performance and achievements to EMCOR and client management.
  • Be the first point of contact for technical queries across the account.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, task ownership, and flexibility across the site.
  • Communicate operational deliverables effectively to Supervisors, ensuring issues are reported and managed promptly.
  • Review data and performance metrics monthly, implementing action plans for any discrepancies.
  • Maintain close liaison with the client regarding maintenance operations.
  • Conduct daily operational update meetings with Supervisors.
  • Ensure the contract's commercial viability and growth.
  • Champion the IMS Quality System and ensure compliance.
  • Record and maintain a program of initiatives and achievements.
  • Attend formal site meetings with the client.
  • Plan and review maintenance activities, manpower loading, and shutdowns.
  • Manage inventory, including critical spaces.
  • Audit EMCOR staff for quality, workmanship, and customer satisfaction.
  • Operate emergency response procedures, including escalation and liaison.
  • Develop a safety culture within EMCOR and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.
  • Oversee subcontractor visits, audits, and performance reporting.
  • Undertake Authorised Person responsibilities.
  • Induct and train technical staff, including H&S Toolbox Talks.
  • Conduct staff performance appraisals and identify training needs.
  • Investigate accidents and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure adherence to Safe Systems of Work, Permit to Work, and isolation procedures.
  • Assist the client with critical plant replacements, emergency procedures, contingency planning, and strategic maintenance reviews.
Person Specification

Who you'll be:

  • HND/HNC/Degree in a technical discipline with relevant experience, preferably in facilities management.
  • IOSH Managing Safely certification (Essential) or NEBOSH (Desirable).
  • Proven operations management experience in a hard services FM environment.
  • Technical background, ideally in electrical or mechanical disciplines.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience managing a team.
  • Good command of English, both spoken and written.
  • Smart, professional appearance.
  • Approachable and personable.
  • Full, clean driving license.
  • BIFM qualification (Desirable).
