Job Description
Are you a building services engineer or a facilities manager with a technical background? Would you be interested in a career change? We are looking for individuals from a facilities background who are interested in working on the consultancy side.
You would be involved in asset registers, asset verification, identifying the condition of plant, and conducting compliance audits.
TSA is currently recruiting for several M&E Asset Surveyors to work within the Midlands, based in Birmingham, within a team for the internal function of a global building services consultancy. The client provides internal resources for a range of projects across public and private sectors, including water, environment, infrastructure, resource management, and energy.
Due to significant growth in the asset management team’s portfolio, they are looking to recruit several individuals to assist with M&E Condition Surveys. The workload spans various industries and environments, both in the public and private sectors.
The client seeks candidates at an intermediate level who are qualified and proficient, with solid knowledge of building services engineering. Effective communication skills are essential, and the ability to perform surveys independently as part of a team is required.
Ideal candidates will have awareness of asset registers, contract mobilisations, CAFM systems, and recognized maintenance standards such as SFG20.
The successful candidates will work as part of a team responsible for logging, tagging, and creating condition reports for all mechanical and electrical assets across different environments.
We prefer candidates qualified within the building services sector, either mechanically or electrically, who are self-sufficient and comfortable managing their workload independently.
If this role interests you, please apply as soon as possible, as we are currently shortlisting for this position.
