Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Sales Solutions Specialist II based in the United States. You will provide accurate quotations, convert quotes to orders, and manage bid requests while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Associates preferred but not required.
• Ability to work at a fast pace and stay current with inquiries and follow-up tasks.
• Knowledge of general pricing and margins; negotiating skills.
• General understanding of glass systems.
• Proficient use of CRL’s website and business software to retrieve product and transaction information.
• Must be organized and able to prioritize effectively.
• Must have excellent customer service skills; tact and discretion, and good self-expression.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and independent thinking to anticipate and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate quotations to customers for their given Product Group.
• Meet or exceed SLA for quote turnaround for their Product Group.
• Read and interpret bid requests through specs/drawings to ensure quotes are technically compatible and competitive.
• Maintain broad knowledge of Product Group products to offer to customers.
• Answer customer calls and resolve questions/concerns with relevant information in a timely manner.
• Document customer interactions and transactions in ERP daily.
• Create urgency to lead customers to release quotes to order so projects stay on track.
• Update notes on open quotes, orders or drawings daily if unresolved.
• Provide customer feedback to Team Leader.
• Collaborate with internal teams on customer needs and satisfaction factors.
