Job summary

GHD in the United States seeks a detail-oriented Technical Editor/Writer with 2 to 6 years of experience to support clear, accurate technical documents for infrastructure projects.

You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and technical teams to edit specifications, reports, and proposals, aiming for client-focused communication and high-quality deliverables in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in technical writing, editing, or related roles.
• Experience supporting engineering, construction, environmental, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Strong grammar, proofreading, and document organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Edit specifications, reports, proposals, and other deliverables for clarity and accuracy.
• Apply formatting standards and ensure consistency across documents.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and staff to collect inputs and track edits.
• Draft, edit, and revise technical content under supervision of leads.
• Support document accessibility and compliance checks; assist with document revisions and version tracking.
• Perform quality reviews to catch missing information and coordination issues before delivery.
