Job summary

GHD in the San Diego area is seeking a detail-oriented Technical Editor/Writer with 2 to 6 years of experience to support the development of clear, accurate, and professional technical documents for infrastructure projects. In this role, you will work with project managers, engineers, and technical teams to edit specifications, reports, proposals, and other project deliverables.

This position is well suited for someone who enjoys writing and communicating complex information clearly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in technical writing/editing.
• Experience supporting engineering/construction/environmental projects preferred.
• Strong grammar, proofreading, and document organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Edit and review technical specifications, reports, proposals, and deliverables.
• Apply formatting standards and ensure consistency.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers to gather input.
• Draft and revise technical content under direction of leads.
