Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Technical Director to join the Solutioning team. The role blends presales expertise, delivery knowledge, and consulting to design tailored technical solutions for enterprise leads and prospects in the US.

You will define project scope, assemble cross-functional teams, respond to complex RFPs/RFIs, and collaborate with sales and delivery to secure new business opportunities, with travel required to client meetings and events.

Qualifications

8+ years building software in the SDLC with teams.
5+ years in solutioning/sales/presales/solution architect roles, manager/director level desirable.
Deep domain knowledge in 1-2 verticals is a plus.
Experience leading delivery teams for Cloud, Data, DevOps, or Testing.

Responsibilities

Meet with leads and prospects with the sales team to understand requirements and translate them into technical documents.
Travel within the US to meet leads, attend events, and support sales initiatives as the technical expert.
Engage in technical conversations around software development and delivery at the solution level and size teams.
Work with presales on decks and proposals for leads, estimating delivery approaches and team composition.
Provide consulting on best practices in software delivery across Data/Analytics, Cloud, Quality, Engineering, or AI.
