Sika Corporation in the Dallas area is seeking a Technical Director to lead the Insulation team's technical policy, sales support, and product deployment. You will guide the Technical Services Department, promote cross-functional collaboration, and steer critical decisions driving sustainable growth.

The role requires a strong engineering background, extensive insulation industry knowledge, and 5–10 years of leadership experience, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• At least a 4-year degree in Engineering, Building Construction or Architecture.
• 5–10 years of related technical leadership experience in insulation or related field.
• Experience leading trade organization and ASTM committees.
• Strong verbal, written, analytical and persuasive communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Technical Services Department staff and plan succession.
• Establish a culture of teamwork and cross-functional communication.
• Make informed decisions to grow the Insulation business.
• Approve non-standard use or application of products (e.g., Special Warranty).
• Establish credibility as an industry expert through advocacy, groups, papers.
• Lead R&D efforts to bring new insulation solutions to market.
