Job summary

Sika Corporation is seeking an experienced Technical Director for its Insulation team in the Dallas, TX area. The role leads the Technical Services Department, drives policy, and aligns technical activities with sales growth while ensuring rigorous quality and safety standards across products and applications.

The position requires a 4-year engineering/architecture degree and 5–10 years of related experience, with travel and cross‑functional collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Engineering, Building Construction or Architecture.
• 5–10 years of related experience.
• Experience leading trade organization or ASTM committees.
• Strong verbal, written, analytical and persuasive skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Technical Services Department staff, including succession planning.
• Establish and maintain a culture of teamwork and effective communication within the Technical Department and with other departments.
• Make well-informed decisions to support growth and health of the Insulation business.
• Approve or deny non-standard use or application of company products.
• Establish credibility as an industry expert through advocacy, work groups, and publications.
• Lead R&D efforts to bring new solutions to market and protect against threats.
