Job summary

SOPREMA USA seeks a Technical Director to shape and execute the technical strategy for U.S. operations.

You will provide strategic leadership, technical expertise, and organizational direction across key functions to enable growth and excellence in building envelope solutions. You will collaborate with senior leadership, guide product development and technical services, and lead cross-functional initiatives while representing SOPREMA in industry engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, material science, building science, construction, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive technical leadership experience within roofing, waterproofing, building envelopes, construction materials, or related industry.
• Demonstrated experience leading technical teams, functions, projects, or strategic initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of building envelope products, systems, applications, testing, codes, standards, product development, or related technical disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Establish and advance the technical vision and strategy for SOPREMA U.S. in alignment with business objectives.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and strategic direction across assigned technical functions and teams.
• Develop and mentor technical leaders and teams while promoting accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure priorities and resources align with company strategy and business objectives.
• Serve as a senior technical advisor to executive leadership on technical, product, market, and organizational matters.
