Job summary

KnitWell Group in Times Square, NYC, seeks a Senior Technical Designer to support the Senior Technical Designer in executing fit comments, managing sample development, and maintaining computerized specification packages. You will collaborate with production, product development, design, and merchandising to ensure quality and timely delivery.

The role requires deep technical expertise in patternmaking, fit, grading, and garment construction, with domestic/international travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise with patternmaking, fit, grading, garment construction and production across a single product category.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships across departments with cross functional and external partners.
• Problem solve and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks/projects.

Responsibilities

• Attends fittings and departmental meetings to ensure fit continuity and brand integrity.
• Captures feedback and executes fit comments accordingly, including during absence of Sr TD.
• Coordinates with QA during Pre-Pro Sample Process for assigned product category.
• Maintains fit tracking and ensures seasonal deadlines are met.
