Job summary

KnitWell Group is seeking a seasoned Technical Designer for its Ann Taylor/LOFT brands in New York. You will support the Senior Technical Designer in executing fit comments, manage sample development, and maintain specification packages through fit approval.

Travel may be required to vendors and factories. Your expertise in patternmaking, grading, and production methods will ensure quality and on-time delivery across a single product category, while fostering collaboration with design,

Qualifications

• 10+ years technical design experience in women’s apparel companies or manufacturers recognized as fashion industry leaders.
• Demonstrated expertise with patternmaking, fit, grading, garment construction, production, and manufacturing methods across a single product category.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships across departments with cross functional and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Attend all fittings and departmental meetings, ensuring fit continuity and design integrity.
• Generate computerized specification packages and maintain them through fit approval.
• Partner with QA during Pre-Pro Sample Process for assigned product category; follow cross-functional calendars.
