Job summary

Fourth Floor is seeking a Technical Designer for its Women's Apparel team in NYC. You will create and maintain technical packages, measurement charts, and detailed garment documentation for women's wear.

Responsibilities include leading fit sessions, reviewing samples, and communicating with internal teams and overseas vendors to ensure production-ready garments meet quality and deadline standards.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of technical design experience in women's apparel.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, patternmaking, fit, grading, fabrics, and apparel manufacturing.
• Proficiency in creating tech packs, measurement specifications, and detailed fit comments.
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Excel, and PLM systems; familiarity with overseas vendors preferred.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple styles and deadlines.
