Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, or a related field.
  • 5–10 years in technical design specifically within Ladies Activewear/Sportswear; Outerwear experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and CAD software; deep knowledge of garment construction and patternmaking.
  • High accuracy in grading, measurements, and technical specifications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication for vendor and internal collaboration.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Tech Pack Development: maintain comprehensive tech packs with sketches, BOMs, measurements, construction methods, and grading.
  • Packaging & Labeling: manage production packaging details, care labels, carton markings, fold/hanger specs, and UPC codes.
  • Fit & Construction: lead fit sessions on live models and communicate adjustments to maintain design integrity and comfort.
  • Sample Management: review prototypes and pre-production samples with manufacturers for quality and design compliance.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: partner with Design, Product Development, and Production to meet standards, timelines, and cost targets.
  • Technical Problem Solving: troubleshoot construction issues and provide innovative design solutions.
