Food Management Search, Inc. is seeking a Technical Designer to join a growing team in New York, NY.

The role focuses on turning concept to production by developing detailed tech packs, BOMs, and fit documentation while ensuring quality, fit, and construction align with brand standards. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical foundation, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to work across Design, Product Development, and Production teams to deliver consistent results in a fast-paced

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, or related field.
• 3–5 years of Technical Design experience in the apparel industry.
• Experience in women's apparel required; outerwear/activewear preferred.
• Proficient in Illustrator and CAD; strong construction knowledge.
• Excellent attention to detail with precise measurement and grading.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain tech packs with sketches, measurements, and specs.
• Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and packaging labels.
• Conduct fit sessions and communicate revisions to vendors and teams.
• Review prototypes and pre-production garments with pattern makers.
• Ensure samples meet standards for fit, quality, and design intent.
• Identify construction challenges and propose practical solutions.
• Collaborate with Design, Product Development, Production, and partners.
• Support project timelines, quality expectations, and brand consistency.
