Job summary

Management Performance Associates in New York, NY is seeking a Technical Designer to join its apparel team. The role focuses on turning concepts into production-ready technical documentation, executing garment fit, and ensuring quality, fit, and construction align with brand standards.

You will develop tech packs, BOMs, and labeling, participate in live model fit sessions, review prototypes, and collaborate with Design, Product Development, Production, and external vendors to meet timelines and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of Technical Design experience in apparel.
• Experience with women's apparel; outerwear or activewear preferred.
• Strong measurement, grading, and fit evaluation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed tech packs with measurements and specs.
• Create and manage Bills of Materials and packaging documentation.
• Conduct fit sessions and communicate revisions to vendors.
• Review prototypes and ensure samples meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with Design, Product Development, Production and partners.
• Support brand standards and timelines.
