Job summary

NELSON Worldwide in Minneapolis is seeking a Technical Designer II to support project documentation across design development and drawing production. You will work with the team to complete construction documents and shop drawings, ensuring alignment with client standards and project schedules.

The role requires strong Revit and AutoCAD skills, familiarity with Photoshop/InDesign, and a disciplined, detail-oriented approach to meet deadlines on corporate interiors and workplace projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience
• Highly proficient in both Revit and AutoCAD
• Familiarity with Photoshop and/or InDesign preferred
• Must be deadline-oriented
• Strong attention to detail
• Architectural / Technical experience working on Corporate Interiors and Workplace design
• Basic knowledge about sustainability, LEED guidelines, and WELL Building. Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of construction documents and specifications
• Update design documents and incorporate red lines as needed
• Assist other team members while conducting field surveys as required
• Participate in the design process as directed
• Provide material, product, and system research and compile project data
• Plot/Prepare drawings for digital transmittance to consultants, clients and/or contractor
• Follow NELSON standards and guidelines in the preparation of deliverables
• Complete small construction document sets using predetermined client standards and templates
