Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Technical Lead for Digital Science Solutions to independently own complex technical delivery for customer projects. You will collaborate with Solutions Architects, Consultants, and Project Managers to design, configure, and implement our lab informatics products and ensure successful outcomes.

You will serve as the primary technical contact, leading scoping, workshops, and pre-/post‑sales activities, while advancing digitization initiatives and maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, IS, Engineering, Life Sciences, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of enterprise software technical implementation experience, preferably in professional services with a life & laboratory science software product/technology services company.
• Experience with ELN, LIMS, SDMS, CDS, instrument and systems integration.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres) and programming (C#, VGL).
• Experience with cloud services and infrastructure is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of technical delivery for customer-facing projects, leading design, architecture, configuration and implementation.
• Plan and track delivery with Solutions Architects, Consultants, and Project Managers to ensure on-time, on-budget results.
• Be the primary technical contact for the customer for scoping, design, and workshops.
• Contribute to pre- and post-sales activities including requirements, RFP responses, documentation, and validation plans.
