Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000 / year

The Position

Arkatechture is seeking candidates for a Technical Data Analyst position. As a Technical Data Analyst, you will be responsible for ongoing support of our BI & Analytics platform, Arkalytics. This role is crucial within our Product team, focusing on building scalable solutions within the platform. The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver, capable of troubleshooting independently, and a team player eager to grow into a subject matter expert. You will interface with clients occasionally, requiring excellent communication and analytical skills with high attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete accountability of all assigned tickets to meet sprint goals and team deliverables.
  • Troubleshoot incidents and problem tickets to identify root causes and develop resolutions following all change management procedures.
  • Gather requirements for Data pipeline integration (ELT) development.
  • Gather requirements for Data mapping (business logic).
  • Develop, review, and test code (SQL, Python, BI tools like Tableau and PowerBI).
  • Maintain active communication with the internal Arkatechture team and occasionally clients.
  • Identify process improvements within the Product team.
  • Escalate risks and issues promptly.
  • Test using SQL and provide documented sign-off.
  • Document processes and workflows.
  • Facilitate requirements sessions, user training, and client meetings.
  • Report work status to team leaders and participate in daily standups.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or 5-8 years of experience in a similar role
  • Expertise in Python and SQL
  • Strong experience with databases such as Snowflake, Databricks, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.
  • Experience with visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
  • Experience in Data Warehousing and BI projects.
  • Experience with AWS.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Enthusiastic, eager to learn, with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with client interaction experience.
  • Desire to understand the product deeply and become a subject matter expert.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket.
  • Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
  • Proven ability to drive projects by translating business requirements into development tasks.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working on a Product team.
  • Experience with financial institutions such as credit unions or banks.
