Job Description :

  • We’re constantly reimagining what’s possible in our industry—creating disruptively simple, powerfully clear ways to maximize our clients’ financial outcomes today and drive down healthcare costs tomorrow. As part of the Software Engineering team, the Senior Data Analyst plays a critical role in transforming raw healthcare claims and eligibility data into actionable insights. This individual will develop complex data mappings and structures to support advanced analytics, reporting, and decision-making. The Senior Data Analyst will possess a deep understanding of data quality and integrity and will be responsible for troubleshooting data-related issues to ensure optimal data flow and utilization.
  • Develop and maintain complex data mappings and transformations to convert raw claims and eligibility data into standardized data models.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of data quality and integrity to identify and resolve issues impacting data accuracy and completeness.
  • Create and execute SQL queries to validate data transformations and support data analysis efforts.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot ETL processes and data architectures to identify and resolve performance and data quality issues.
  • Create comprehensive documentation of data mapping, transformation, and validation processes.
  • Support the implementation of new client data sources, ensuring seamless integration into existing data infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to evaluate and implement new data pipelines, mining engines, and other technologies to enhance data analysis capabilities.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for client data content and models, providing business leaders with insights into risk, impacts, and opportunities.
  • Partner with data scientists and analysts to support advanced analytics and reporting initiatives.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business, technology, or related field.
  • Three to five years of experience in a business or data analyst or quality assurance role is.
  • Experience within a healthcare-related field working with very large data sets of medical and pharmacy claims.
  • Proficient in creating and troubleshooting complex SQL queries.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, time-management, and task prioritization skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across the organization.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to change.
