As a Pharmacy Data Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping strategic decisions by developing reporting solutions and conducting complex analyses that impact our initiatives. We seek a skilled professional with pharmacy data experience, capable of managing projects and solving challenges with significant financial implications. Your analytical skills will support pharmacy management decisions and develop innovative solutions. Qualifications:

Pharmacy Data Analyst I

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, health information administration, mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related field
  • 2 years’ relevant work experience in data analysis or supporting relational database development, maintenance, or utilization in healthcare or business systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pharmacy Data Analyst II

  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields
  • 5 years’ relevant experience in data analysis or supporting relational databases
  • STARS and MES experience strongly preferred

Pharmacy Data Analyst III

  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields
  • 8 years’ relevant experience
  • STARS and MES experience strongly preferred
Skills and Attributes:

Pharmacy Data Analyst I

  • Advanced SQL expertise and report-writing skills, proficiency in Oracle, Access, SQL Navigator, Excel (pivot tables, VBA, macros, vlookups)
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of corporate data systems and healthcare fundamentals
  • Business acumen in finance, statistics, risk management, project management
  • Excellent communication skills, stakeholder engagement, training, documentation
  • Ability to create and validate procedures, manage cross-functional activities
  • Knowledge of managed care principles, underwriting, actuarial concepts

Pharmacy Data Analyst II - In addition to Level I

  • Advanced SQL and report-writing skills, recognized as department expert
  • Proficient with data access tools and report development
  • Highly advanced analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, independent work capability

Pharmacy Data Analyst III - In addition to Level I and II

  • Ability to work independently or with a team, mentoring/coaching experience, project leadership
What You Will Do at Cambia:

Pharmacy Data Analyst I and II

  • Develop and maintain SQL reports, dashboards, automate validation, sign-off on reports
  • Perform statistical analysis, data modeling, trend analysis
  • Design reporting systems, ensure data integrity
  • Evaluate impacts of new products/systems, address issues
  • Mentor and support analysts, promote reporting consistency
  • Collaborate cross-functionally, interpret data, communicate findings
  • Make high-stakes decisions, ensure report validation

Pharmacy Data Analyst III - Additional responsibilities include technical expertise and project leadership

The salary range for Pharmacy Data Analyst I is $56,950 - $77,050; with a bonus target of 5%. The full salary range is $53,000 - $88,000.

The salary range for Pharmacy Data Analyst II is $75,650 - $102,350; with a bonus target of 10%. The full salary range is $71,000 - $116,000.

The salary range for Pharmacy Data Analyst III is $91,800 - $124,200; with a bonus target of 15%. The full salary range is $91,800 - $124,200.
