Job summary

Comrise is seeking a Customer Service Representative – Technical Products to support rail transit systems, coordinating quotations, managing orders, and facilitating solutions with engineering, supply chain, product management, and factory teams.

This contract-to-hire role offers exposure to commercial operations, technical products, and enterprise business systems, with comprehensive product training on rail traction power equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, inside sales support, order management, or a customer-facing role.
• Location: Sacramento, CA or ability to commute.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams).
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries related to parts, services, and technical equipment.
• Coordinate quotations, track orders, and manage sales orders, purchase orders, and revisions in SAP.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, sourcing, and factory teams to gather pricing, lead times, and specifications.
• Provide timely, accurate responses and proactively communicate order status, quotation updates, delivery schedules, and issue resolution progress.
